We are a small editorial team, not a call centre. There is no contact form and no ticket number here. Send an email and a person reads it.

Things worth writing to us about:

• A class on this site whose price, meeting point, start time or menu has changed. Florence listings move more than you would think, and we would rather hear it from you than notice it three months late.
• A hands-on cooking class in Florence or the hills around it that is not on the site. If it has a real, currently bookable listing with published dates, send the link and we will read it the same way we read the other ten.
• A question about a class that neither the FAQ nor our guides answers.
• Anything on the site you think is wrong. Especially that.

What we cannot help with

We cannot take a booking, move you to another session, cancel a place or issue a refund. None of those are ours to touch. Every class on this site is sold and run by somebody else, and your place sits with them from the moment you pay.

So if the question is about a booking you have already made, the fastest route is the confirmation email you were sent when you booked. It carries your reference, the start time, the exact meeting point and a message button that reaches the people who will actually be handing you an apron. On a same-day question that beats us every time, and on a "we are running late" call it is the only channel that can do anything.

Two details worth checking on that confirmation before you write to anyone. The meeting point first, because Florence kitchens hide behind ordinary street doors in the centre and travellers do report circling the block looking for the right one. Then the cancellation deadline, which on every class listed here is 24 hours before the start, so a change of plan the day before costs nothing and a change of plan that morning costs everything.
